Nuty Chocolate Lava Cake very simple and easy to make and with molten chocolate frosting .
Ingredients:
Dry
- 2 Cups All purpose Flour / Maida
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- A pinch of salt
- 4 tsp Coco Powder
- 3 Eggs
- 1+3/4 Cup Castor Sugar/ Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter or Margarine
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping cream
- 1 tsp Coco Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 2 tbsp Castor Sugar
- 120gms Chocolate Bar
- 1 Cup broken dry fruits
- Sift all the dry ingredients,mixed together in a bowl.
- Whisk the Eggs, Vanilla Essence along with Castor sugar until fluffy.
- Now slowly little by little mix the dry ingredients into this.
- Then mix butter and milk together till warm. Mix this into above made batter.
- Transfer the batter in a cake tin and bake it for 40 to 45 min in a preheated oven at 180 ° c or 350 ° F.
- Refrigerate the cake for couple of hours
- Meanwhile prepare the icing by whisking all the ingredients required for icing.
- Now take out the cake and cut it into half horizontally then apply icing in the inner half part.
- Place the other half part over it as it was before cutting.
- Melt the chocolate in a vessel keeping it inside another vessel filled with some water over a low heat.
- Add the dry fruits in the melted chocolate and drop this over the top of the cake. Spread all over.
- Refrigerate the cake for couple of hours and then its ready to be served.
- The batter should have stair dropping consistency.
- If the batter is too thick you can add little more milk.
- Insert a toothpick; if the toothpick comes out clean, the cake is ready.
- Whip the cream in a cold surrounding./
