Milk Cake also known as Kalakand very simple and quick to make Mitai ,one of my favorite and requires few ingredients that are easily available in our kitchen.
• 400 gm Full cream Cottage Cheese/ Paneer
• 400 gm Condensed Milk
• 1 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
• 2 tbsp Milk Powder
• 1 tsp Clarified Butter / Ghe
Direction:-
1. Grate or mash the Cottage cheese with your hands.
2. Then in a non stick pan add some ghee ,let it to melt.
3. Now add all the above ingredients and keep on cooking it till it gets thick to a Halwa type consistency.
4. Drop it in a greased container and after it comes down to a room temperature cover it up and refrigerate it for an hour.
5. Now cut it in pieces.
